The Future of Urban Education: Anticipating and responding to social and political issues that impact urban education

How do we support the future of our nation's urban school districts? By being fully aware of the range of social, political and economic developments with the potential to impact the future of urban education, and responding to those developments. This year's conference will highlight strategies for addressing the opportunity and achievement gaps; guidelines on how to keep your districts fully engaged in the education process for all students, particularly underrepresented students; and will prepare you to be advocates for public education year-round.
